Green Hills

Welcome to Green Hills

Peaceful neighborhood with some of Nashville’s best shopping

Green Hills is a highly sought-after neighborhood in South Nashville with gently rolling hills and a peaceful suburban vibe. The neighborhood also offers some of the city’s premier shopping and dining with more than 100 restaurants and retailers located at The Mall at Green Hills. Green Hills is also home to the intimate Bluebird Cafe, which has helped launch the careers of stars such as Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift.
Development of Green Hills began in the 1930s, and the neighborhood’s real estate mix features many different styles built at various points since then. Housing options include classic mid-century ranches on generous lots, cozy bungalows, spacious single-family homes, and sprawling private estates. Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

The Mall at Green Hills is the best place for upscale shopping in Nashville. With around 100 stores and 20 restaurants anchored by Dillard’s, Macy’s, and Nordstrom department stores, the Mall’s extensive selection of fashion brands includes Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Coach, Crate & Barrel, David Yurman, Forever 21, Gucci, J. Crew, J. Jill, Kate Spade New York, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Sephora, Tiffany & Co., and Zara. The Mall’s flagship Restoration Hardware is an enormous four-story gallery showcasing the finest in contemporary interior design. Restoration Hardware’s beautifully-designed RH Café is a must-visit. Here, you can dine on ingredient-driven cuisine and sip artisanal wine and craft beer inside a striking steel-and-glass atrium featuring a trickling fountain, heritage olive trees, and elegant chandeliers. Other dining choices at The Mall include wood-grilled Italian dishes at Carrabba's, creative salads at Chopt, over 200 delicious desserts at The Cheesecake Factory, and handcrafted Italian classics and seasonal specialties at North Italia. More retailers and restaurants can be found clustered around the Hillsboro Pike close to The Mall at Green Hills. Local favorites include indie bookstore Parnassus Books, which hosts monthly book clubs and many in-store author events.

Things to Do
